Irving Boisselle goes by the stage name of Mr. Lonesome. His stage name came about because of his unique musical compositions that set him apart from his fellow artist in the calypso genre. As a standout among his peers, there are a number of attributes that define Mr. Lonesome. He has a melodious voice, which puts him in the esteemed category of a crooner in calypso music. Mr. Lonesome has a commanding stage presence and is skilled at crafting thought provoking Calypso songs that speaks on the subjects of today as well as touch on history. Mr. Lonesome calypso renditions take the audience on a journey of storytelling which is the root of calypso. Part of storytelling through music is presentation and he has the acclaim of designing the first collapsible Steel Pan stand as a prop for one of his performances. He loves Calypso and admires the music of Sparrow, Melody and Merchant, whose style he aspires. He has release one full album called “My Way” and numerous singles.
