Originally, learning to make beats for himself and his crew to have original instrumentals to rap over, ONLYist slowly evolved a love and passion for many sounds across several genres. Eventually learning and being the local mixing and mastering engineer, people started realizing he was the "ONLY... artist" involved at each step of the process, which ultimately coined the name ONLYist. Throughout his music journey and his love for unique and abstract sounds and styles, ONLYist adopted the philosophy that music is nothing but vibes; vibes are energy, and good energy can heal people. ONLYist combines a unique palette of heavy hitting sounds, while using minimalism to paint his sound scape, which gives him the ability to make his music seem familiar to his listeners. After producing tracks for several underground artists, in 2022 ONLYist decided it's time to share his art with the world.
