Stax Edwardz is a Dallas, TX native son who has been blessing the mic for many years. He wrote his first rhyme at the age of 8 y.o. in the 4th grade. Music has been an outlet to escape and express the harsh realities of growing up in the harsh neighborhood known to Dallasites as Highland Hills. Stax has been part of several musical endeavors such as: Savage Records, a group he and his friends from the neighborhood formed Where he performed under the moniker "Gillotine," AMP, where he contributed to his cousins album as both writer and artist for a short time, and also teamed up with another associate to, create Merc Camp. This group is where Gillotine grew and developed into Stax Edwardz under the leadership & guidance of their producer Kerav Shimon. After many years the artist decided it was time to strike out independently to see what he could create. Presented to you, for your listening pleasures...Stax Edwardz!
