Solitaire is a song composed by Erroll Garner with lyrics by Steve Allen. The title was released on the eponymous album a long time ago. This record is a bit like a Proust Madeleine, a refuge object, a moment of poetry and abandonment. Erroll Garner making his piano sing with simple Jazz harmonies, few enriched chords, but his voicings were very fine and his sense of timing legendary. I allowed myself more freedom in this solo piano interpretation, such is the Jazz mood. Enjoy your escapade!more
