Prior to landing performances on the coveted stages of the Bluebird Cafe and the World Famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge on day one of their first-ever trip to Nashville, Michelle (Guitar) and Melinda (Fiddle), first picked up their instruments when they were ten and 11 years old. As Mexican-Americans, they were further inspired by the career of Tejano superstar Selena, an introduction made by their mother, via the biographical film “Selena” released in ’97.
Michelle and Melinda’s live performances across the country in places like San Antonio, New York, Chicago, Nashville and other cities, have resonated with audiences. Their lyrics have made deep connections with fans, and they plan to continue release new music. With over 200 original songs in their catalog, the girls are continuing to collaborate with several producers and songwriters to be able to share their stories and songs.
