Went into a hyper productive manic state and wrapped up my Album “After Hours” Which will be available June 18th. This song is not from that at all haha. This is the translated version of my song 消えないままで, which was originally written on my first album “Slow Dance” I also made a pop-punk version for After Hours, and even though I’ve shared the English lyrics before, I want my next project to be completely in Japanese so an English translated version of my only Japanese song just felt right. Writing in Japanese and creating interesting imagery is super super easy, cause there really isn’t like rhyming in Japanese. Trying to make it English and make it rhyme was a pain. I know some lyrics sound a bit odd, and there’s lazy sounding fill in places but yea just understand it’s a translation of a song I never planned to cover in English lol.more
