Ohhh Ohhh We stood against the heavy gravity To touch the edge of our destiny (Touch the destiny) Not for the fruit, not for the fear (No fruit, no fear) But for the music only we could hear Only we could hear Only we could hear A spark that bloomed inside the dark Leaving the safety of the ancient ark We walked the wire, unforced and free To find the version of who we could be Oh, the autotelic soul Chasing the fire to make us whole It’s not the winning, it’s the climb (Ohhh) Dancing upon the edge of time We are the apes who chose the sky (Chose the sky) Born with a burning need to try (Need to try) Need to try Need to try Ohhh Oh Ohhh But now we freeze in cages made of glass Watching the hollow shadows come and pass Trading our warmth for a digital crown (Digital crown) While heavy hearts go slowly sinking down The "like" is a ghost that feeds on pain Starving the spirit in the cold rain We lost the rhythm, we lost the trust Turning our diamonds back into dust Back into dust Break the mirror Touch the skin Let the real game begin Let it begin The "body budget" needs a smile To walk together for one more mile Oh, the autotelic soul (Ohhh, the soul) Chasing the fire to make us whole (Fire, whole) It’s not the winning, it’s the flow (Ahhh) The only heaven that we know (We know) We are the apes who chose the sky (Chose the sky) Born with a burning need to try (Need to try) Just you and I (You and I) On this high (On this high) On this high (On this high) On this high (On this high) Oh, the autotelic soul (Ahhh) Chasing the fire to make us whole (Make us whole) It’s not the winning, it’s the flow (Yeahhh) The only heaven that we know (Only heaven) Ohhh We are Ohhh We are Ohhh We are We are the apes who chose the sky (Chose the sky) Born with a burning need to try (Need to try) Just you and I (Just you and I) On this high (On this high) On this high (On this high) On this high (On this high) Fuuu Fuuu The challenge is our lullaby Lullaby Lullabymore
