D. Lylez who was born and raised on Chicago’s south side. He started singing at age 9 after listening to R&B group Dru Hill and Usher. Lylez had the opportunity at 12-years old to star in "The Concert/The Legacy" where he played a young Thomas Dorsey and went on to work in small stage play productions. D. Lylez recently released 3 new singles " Under My Spell, Feel Good, and Who Cares". Also, from 2017 - 2018 D. Lylez reached 1 million plays on Spotify with EDM DJ Gianni Blu including their most recent song entitled “Somebody Like You” which also reached 1 million plays . D. Lylez recently auditioned for NBC’s The Voice and is now on Team John Legend . Over the past few years D. Lylez has worked with numerous local and mainstream artists like T.I, Jason Derulo, Usher, Chris Brown, Willie Taylor, Brian McKnight, Smino and more!
