First and foremost, I’m just a musician/songwriter and not a singer, so always get a singer (Simon and Lucy in this case) in for the recording. Secondly, it’s a love song, plain and simple. I was embarrassed for writing it but I do like it now. Sometimes an idea pops into my head and I let it develop naturally without trying to steer it in another direction. It took me 10 years to complete. It could have been finished sooner but I couldn’t find an ending until I changed one chord. more
