Maurice The Ghetto Decon Born in Chicago Illinois 1971 raised in the Deep MISSISSIPPI DELTA Mean Streets of Rosedale/Cleveland Alone the Memphis Tennessee Line adopted a love for RAP music in the early 80's listening to Artists such as Public Enemy, X-Clan Doggie Fresh & SLICK Rick,Poor Righteous Teacher's. He went on to start writing his Southern Conscious Unique Positive Style of Rhyming in 1982 And Helped formed the first Rap group ever in the Mid-Delta called the 5'Mcs.
The group took their talents all around Mississippi Mid-Delta Bringing Nothing but Positive Music in front of the NAACP The Head Start Organization And Many other Local Events In the Community As the years went on Maurice would branch off with his talent And take it to Rochester New York & Atlanta Ga Where he would win the Ruby Talent Production Award for Best Outstanding Rap Performance his music is all about Motivation, Upifting & Inspiration.
