Soft delicate piano solo intro outlining the melody, then gradually the double bass and drums set the time and improvisation over the melody begins, piano boasts various cadences with dissonance being pervasive throughout the song. Soft delicate piano mirroring the theme of Fukai Aijo which means deep love in Japanese. The double bass and drums ensures a strong foundation for the piano to flourish, then we arrive at zenith of the song with a bustling crescendo. The foundation recapitulates and the solo piano takes form again to remind us of the main melody.more

I wrote this song to encourage people to continue to persevere when they are in times of adversity. It was inspired by the passing of my mother and the cultivation of my relationship with my estranged father. more
