At 11, I became a caregiver for my mother after my father left. Writing became my outlet for the anger, pressure, and silence that came with carrying responsibilities too early. Day1Father is for the ones who had to grow up fast, hold families together, and survive without help. Every lyric is real. Every song comes from lived experience. Nobody was coming, so I became the one who did.
