This is the most updated version of the song, first written in 2014. The music, I think, comes from my time working in restaurants as a classical guitarist. I used to play a lot of Villa Lobos in these places, which I think comes across here a little bit. The lyrics, I think, speak for themselves.more

I personally think this is a pretty ambitious one. This is kind of a sequel to my song, "Count Of The Castle," which is also on my Slaps profile. Lyrically, I had been reading some of Truman Capote's short stories, among them "Miriam" and "A Tree Of Night," where you found yourself with either ghosts or spirits or weird unique folk who seemed to lost in a different world and the reader didn't always truly know what was happening. The character in this song is in an odd state of consciousness and has interesting viewpoints. Hope you like this one.more
