She Moved Through The Fair
Well known Irish ballad. I like to think of it as a ghost story. The narrator thinks all is well, but she returns at night as a ghost and repeats the words"it will not be long love till our wedding day" intimating her own death and reuniting in the afterlife. I seem to remember that in legend, the swan moving over the lake at night, is a sign of death, maybe someone could enlighten me on that? Acoustic Taylor guitar, Tenor recorder,Low and high 'D' whistle . Hope you enjoy 'She Moved Through The Fair'more
