I remember how my eyes drifted Deep in the sunlight I recall her hair, perfume And just what it smelled like Hand-in-hand we were talking Standing on the corner of Rue de Jean And I promised to her to be Forever in my arms I was caught in a landslide I saw you in the pouring rain And once again you came to me in a dream I saw you just floating free While no other would notice my heart And you just stole it in the pouring rain Fire and ice react so smoothly Coexist and harmonize And our car pulls in like a movie Into a modernized life And I hear the phone going off again I can’t just let it ring And they call again And no one’s there ‘Cause no one knows my name I was caught in a landslide I saw you in the pouring rain And once again you came to me in a dream I saw you just floating free While no other would notice my heart And you just stole it in the pouring rain I was caught in a landslide I saw you in the pouring rain And once again you came to me in a dream I saw you just floating free While no other would notice my heart And you just stole it in the pouring rain I was caught in a landslide I saw you in the pouring rain And once again you came to me in a dream I saw you just floating free While no other would notice my heart And you just stole it in the pouring rainmore
