Born, February 20th to Willie 'Black Beauty' Hughley and Zepheria 'Zee' Durant, Cliché always had a knack for writing and the art of music. At the age of 9, she discovered her passion for writing, by earning a 4.5 on Floridas Writing Test in 4th grade. Growing up she would write short stories, skits, and poems as a hobby. By the age of 12, she had grew a love for "freetyling", which eventually evolved into songwriting. She would always freestyle during her Science class in middle school and at home, on Jadakiss' 'Get on the Mic' video game. Cliché began recording the poems she had written to instrumentals and that’s how she found the love for producing and recording music as a whole. Creating the identity of “Cliché” came about during High School and she have built on the image of not portraying Cliché aspects of a female artist since. The entertainment industry has seen a lot of music on cliché topics. Cliché, is a rising new artist from West Orlando who wishes to break that cycle.
