Meet Justino-Giovanni Di Salvo, or 613tino, Italian-Canadian music luminary. The Ottawa-bred engineer, producer, and rap artist who's carved his unique path through the Canadian music scene. Growing up in Orleans, Ottawa, his journey started at 11 with beatboxing and rapping, progressing to self-recording at 12. At 14, his big brother introduced him to a studio, AGM records, marking the birth of his musical endeavours. Justino's turbulent teen years included bouncing between 10 high schools, facing legal woes at 16, moving out independently, and a hospitalization for bipolar disorder at 18. His musical journey continued at 21, attending the esteemed Metalworks Institute (Toronto, Ontario) alongside many industry talents. Recording tracks for himself and other new artists, without a specific album in mind, he honed his craft.
