Their songs are based on personal struggles, depicting the brokenness and hopelessness of the world but also reflecting the light and hope that is deeply rooted in their faith. They firmly believe that no matter how damaged a person might be, there is always hope for redemption. Awaken the Desolate has played several local shows in Wisconsin throughout the years they have been together. They have recently added a new band member and wrote new music for a full-length album.
