Adam Scott-McGuinness is a songwriter and music producer based in nipaluna/Hobart, lutrawita/Tasmania, Australia. He first gained recognition with the folktronica duo Porcelain Pill, blending synths, drum machines, and cello across two EPs. In 2019, he composed “Close to the Sun” for the horror game of the same name, showcasing his ability to craft immersive soundscapes. He later served as Audio Lead for Where the Snow Settles (2021), composing an evocative soundtrack that enhanced the game’s atmosphere. Passionate about adaptive audio, Adam co-presented at High Score 2021, exploring the role of sound in storytelling. With a distinctive fusion of folk, electronic, and cinematic elements, his work continues to push the boundaries of songwriting and production.
