Aiva is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Albany, New York. Currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Independent Recording and Production. She first became enthralled with Broadway and musical theater at a young age, and soon found her love for artists such as Sara Bareilles, Ariana Grande, and Mariah Carey. With an eye and ear for strong female voices using intricate and unique production techniques, her inspiration shows in her new single Entertainer. Her music tasted has evolved uncovering a new love for electronic pop like Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek, as well as folk music. Aiva plays guitar and piano, constantly writing about her frequently strange feelings of nostalgia and things that just speaking can't quite express. Her desire to create a name for herself is driven by her want to relate deep seated feelings with others around the world, and use her music to change lives for the better, especially those who feel they don't have a voice.
