Born in El Paso, Texas, but has lived most of his life in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Mexico, Alec Mora is a DJ, Producer, and Musician who initially debuted as a lo-fi hip-hop artist who has now taken influence from a variety of genres. He is currently studying Actuarial Science at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Although he is by nature a logical thinker with an uncanny enthusiasm for Mathematics, his passion for music has remained his stable connection in his worldwide journey. Alec Mora has a distinctive mellow style of including nostalgic sounds, often using live recordings of piano, guitar, and brass instrumentation for a more natural listening experience. He uses original lyrics and relatable dialogue to connect with his listeners and evoke personal feelings and emotions.
