Alex Bosson knew from an early age that being a drummer was all he
wanted to be in life. He started drumming at the age of 13, taking private lessons
for about 6 months until branching out on his own. After that, throughout high
school and past that playing in local death metal bands and doing small self-
funded tours around the Western US. By the age of 21, he had slipped discs in his
spine and had to give up playing, potentially forever. That being a fate he wasn’t
willing to accept, he underwent 4 different surgeries, other various procedures
and lots of physical therapy over the next 5 years. By the age of 26 he was finally
well enough to get back behind the kit. At this time, he and long-time friend Ryan Erwin started LUNAR. A
progressive metal project inspired by acts such as Opeth, Devin Townsend, Tool,
etc. Now, LUNAR is working on their upcoming 3rd full-length album to be
