Alex Ghost has been writing and recording music since he was fifteen, after getting his first Fostex 4‑track in ’95. What started as bedroom experiments turned into a lifelong obsession with sound — recording his own songs, his friends’ songs, and every band he played in. Over the years he’s built up hundreds of hours of mixing, production, and engineering experience across genres from EDM to country to goth.
His catalogue spans three full‑length solo albums, early‑band EPs, and a vault of tape demos and oddities. Alex plays guitar, piano, bass, and synths, and his vocals shift from indie rock to punk to crooning — all shaped by an eclectic musical upbringing.
Influences include The Smiths, David Bowie, The Beatles, Aphex Twin, Rozz Williams, Christian Death, Blur, Pavement, Grandaddy, Manu Chao, NOFX, Bad Religion, Misfits, Nirvana, and many more. The result is a sound that’s melodic, abrasive, heartfelt, and unmistakably his own.
