I was in a guitar group in primary school at age 8 and really enjoyed this. Later I took lessons on a Saturday morning and learnt a bit of theory. In my late teens I learnt to play the violin and theory at the Conservatorium in Newcastle for a couple of years. Enjoying music greatly. Ive enjoyed listening to both rock and classical music since my younger years. My father played classical, jazz and I enjoyed this, but I used to play Rolling Stones, even at an early age. I had a rolling stones collection from about 1964 till the steel wheels album which was quite extensive and numerous. These days I like to write my own songs, play and record them rather than play covers.
