I thought he had delivered such an exceptional solo piece of conscious artwork that I was inclined to reverse engineer the beat and keep that classic as an exclusive. The challenge was with keeping the song similar key, vibe and tempo. It was a gruelling process of eliminating what didn't work and I took a less is more approach. As you may know the BLACK SHEEP beat is very busy and quite saturated with a bunch of high bells.
