THE ALTERED SOUND is a California-based Christian metal project forged in the tension between sin and salvation.
With an unmistakable 80s metal aesthetic—neon, thunder, and conviction—each track hits like a sermon through distortion. The band’s message is simple: redemption isn’t quiet. It screams through the noise.
We write for the broken, the angry, the hopeful, and the found. Every song is a testimony: heavy, honest, and unapologetically faithful.
Faith. Fury. Redemption. That’s the sound. That’s the story.
