AmazzonKane

United States

Most known on YouTube for reviving the series Angela Anaconda, AmazzonKane aka Alexandra Bender, is a singer, writer, and former street performer. Growing up, she was told she complained too much & needed to magically get over her emotional issues. She didn't live up to that unrealistic expectation, so she decided to make complaining more fun. Taking inspiration from both witches and princesses, she writes bitchy pop songs with comedy and folk influences about abusive friendships, and both inner and outer dysfunction. The ultimate goals are to help process anger, fight back against abusive people, assert one's worth and dignity, and most importantly, find the fun and humor in it all. Her favorite genres are musical theater, early 2000s pop-punk, 60s-70s singer-songwriter and Celtic Folk. Her biggest musical inspirations are Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Alanis Morissette, Petula Clark, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Britney Spears, Hannah Montana, Disney, The Boomtown Rats and Ke$ha
