Amélie Barthe is a french singer, dancer, bandleader and author based in Toulouse (France). She plays Jazz & Swing standards in the gypsy's way, strongly influenced by the music of the master Django Reinhardt. She started singing Jazz Manouche standards in the Parisians street and subways in 2011 and never stopped enjoying this music untill today! On stage she gives a lot of energy reminiscent of the cabaret artists of "les années folles" shaking up jazz standards and making it fresh and cheerfull for the audience but also very moving by interpreting closely the lyrics both in french and english. On top of it, she surrounds herself with virtuoso musicians, one on the bests of the Toulouse scene such as Tom Bernus, Fabrice Renailler, Hadrien Vejsel... making their performance enchanting for gypsy jazz lovers.
