After spending years honing his skills behind the scenes as a hip-hop producer and songwriter, 17-year-old Ankith Gupta discovered himself as music producer in mid-2019. Drawing from his personal life, his songs, primarily about love and lyrical rap, found a natural home in his own DIY blend of contemporary pop, trap and r&b. Since then, the Indian-based producer has released over a dozen singles, all self-produced, written and recorded all over the globe, until his breakout song "Puppy Love" reached international success. As he continues building on his momentum with more solo projects, his knack for producing and co-writing in various musical genres has made him a sought-after collaborator in India's underground music scene.
