Just what you want - another story. But this one matters to me. I’ve always been a competitor, and I know the music industry demands nothing less. While creating music, finishing graduate school, and closing my collegiate track and field career at the 2020 Olympic Trials, my drive to compete and perform never faded - if anything, it intensified. It pushed me toward excellence, not just for myself, but to serve others through my music on any stage, big or small. I’m deeply grateful for the gift of being a musician, singer, and songwriter - roots planted in church, shaped through vocal jazz, madrigal, and a cappella groups. Those experiences built my foundation, but I remain a student, always growing. I still think about my grandparents, the Silver Gate Quartets, touring and sharing their gift - and I carry that legacy forward.
