A.n.t.y.e. Is from Stockton California. His birth name is Anthony Sessoms. He is oldest child of six siblings. Antye started doing music as a teenager in a rap group called ColdFusion. He mostly touches on music that involves mental health and Sentimental topics such as inspiration, death and hardships. Antye is not only an artist he is an audio engineer. Losing his mother and grandmother at young ages has surely affected him as he has many songs involving them. His father was incarcerated most of his life. Antye talks about being diagnosed ADHD as a young child for being discouraged to fall into the stigma.After high school Antye went into the military specifically the United States Marines. He served for years honorably while completing Tours in Japan and Iraq. Antye brings a good balance between lyrical content and new age sound that touches on the nostalgia the golden hiphop era.
