Assembly Trio are a strongly interactive, thoughtful and conversational contemporary jazz guitar trio consisting of: Alex Bishop on guitar, Ben Evans on bass and Will Shaw on drums. Based in Sheffield, they bring a fresh rhythmic sound steeped in jazz tradition, whilst also testing new waters in their textural and harmonic approach, delivering melodies memorable enough to whistle on your way home but with enough chaos to constantly have you guessing what’s coming next.
