After getting the chord progression down, I sound designed my synth and brass on Serum to render a dark vibe on the drop. Moreover, I applied the same chords (as the original track) for the bass which fit perfectly well with the punchy kick, while maintaining that tech groove throughout the track. My hats carry both a fun automation and a syncopated flow that holds the momentum of the beat. With that said, PLEASE give it a listen and share your thoughts.
