Drummer, Vocalist, Poet, Pianist for hire (before) releasing Debut EP “Dear X (17)” this is a long finished project, completed in 2022 with my high school graduation. Dear X (17) will be released in Bash Records, in homage to my late mentor, Clarence “Bash” Robinson. Bash taught me every week in my crib about the music and its history. He played with people from Miles Davis to Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock to Wynton Marsalis. He would stay late and we would shed, a termed coined for practicing, as drum sticks shed wood, and most musicians (such as myself) grow up practicing in a wood shed… alone. But that’s not how I pictured my music, I pictured it to be released and shared, laughed over and danced on. In respects to those who taught me, I can no longer wait.
