Born and raised on the island of Sint Maarten & now living in Amsterdam, BIG DANO delivers his art with a special twist of his native dialect along with ever changing flows that’ll surely have you captivated. Growing up in an household ruled by Calypso/Reggae/Soca music, Hip Hop came to DANO as a different way to express what he was feeling or lack there of. His music can range from hard hitting rap tunes that can have entire room jumping or smooth melodic Afro-Caribbean sounds that’ll have you swinging those hips. There is always a “message to the madness” as he likes to say, “if you’re looking for microwave music then I’m not for you”.
