A Michigan born country music songwriter whose honest songs rise straight out of the freshwater soul of the Great Lakes State. Raised along the shores of Lake Huron, BJ learned early that the water doesn’t just give you fish and waves, it teaches you about life, loss, and grace.
For BJ Beckett, country music isn’t about chasing Nashville lights, it’s about shining a light on the values that built the heartland. faith, family, freedom, fishing, and the boats that carry us through it all. His stories come from the docks, the rivers, the church pews, and the wide-open freshwater horizons of Michigan, and they’re written for anyone who still believes in hard work, real love, and the healing power of a day spent on the water.
