Jim has been creating music for over four decades -- with interests in experimental music and live theater incidental music. He's worked on more than 100 theater productions (community and professional-non-equity) in Maryland, Virginia, D.C., North Carolina, and Pennsylvania as composer, arranger, orchestrator, music director, accompanist, and sound designer. Jim's designed and programmed his experimental music software system, which offers numerous music-generating algorithms including Markov chains, genetic algorithms, sentiment analysis, Euclidean rhythms, image and dictionary sonification, mathematical sequences sonification, tape loops, L-systems, and Long Short Term Memory neural networks.
