Todd Alan Stadtman was an American singer, songwriter, musician, producer, author, blogger, and podcaster. Stadtman's musical works combine an affinity for classic pop songcraft, with a wide range of post-punk, electronic and alternative music influences.
Todd Stadtman debuted as singer and bassist for punk/power-pop group The Blitz in 1978, and later for art-punk band B Team, with David Rubinstein and Greg Baker. In 1985, he led The Naked Into, a dark pop outfit featuring Lisa Davis, Dave Hawkins, and David Rubinstein, with 1987's Here Comes the World, on Infrasonic Records. As a member of Zikzak with David Rubinstein, Stadtman co-wrote & co-produced See You There, released on Bitter Records in 2000.
He began a solo career in 2003, releasing Anxotica. For Only I Can Save You, released on Prix Fixe Records in 2005 – an electro-influenced disc with Stadtman co-produced with Dan Wool. Later work: a musical in 2017, Mad Girl, and finally, Black Seed, in 2018.
