I’m a Mississippi girl living in New Orleans and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m newly married and have a baby making her/his debut at the end of October. For as long as I can remember music has been intertwined in every part of my life. Every great memory I have there is a song attached that brings me back to that very moment. I’ve been blessed to be exposed to all kinds of music and I feel the mixed genres that I enjoy come out in my own music while still maintaining my own style that is as twangy and raspy as my Southern roots! A sign of a really good song to me is one that you can’t help but smile or dance to and I hope to achieve both with my songs. I appreciate vivid descriptions that not only tell the story but transport you there and is relatable so even if you haven’t experienced what I have you know the feeling and it may bring up a completely different memory that taps into and feeds your soul. That is the hope for what I want to accomplish with my music!
