I compose 21st.Century Tone Poems and, from time to time, a song. The music is intended to evoke images or to convey the impression of events. It usually tells a story or describes an experience of a place. These sorts of pieces have historically been called 'symphonic poems' which, for me, isn't entirely accurate, as I use every sound at my disposal not just a symphony orchestra. You will hear natural and mechanical sounds together with acoustic and electronic instruments. Very occasionally there are even a few vocals.
