As his brother Rik, Bart started as snaredrummer.The local Fanfare became soon a Drum- & MarchingBand.Bart has been the leading percussion-player (Sd, tripletom, quinttom,Bd, Drmset) for years.In his late teens he began playing in local Rock/Popbands and later on in Ballroomcombo’s, Big-Bands & Dixielandbands.Through Frank & Didier Deruyter (early 90s) he got to know the Antwerp Jazz Studio,2 summer courses and 2 years of Jazz Studio classes followed with Billy Hart(USA),Dré Pallemaerts(Be),Jan de Haas(Nl) on Drums & Riccardo Del Fra(I),Hein van de Geyn(Nl) on Double Bass, John Rocco(USA) Sax as teachers.Jazz expanded Barths look on music immens.Inspired by percussion music Bart started recording his own percussion music and later on also Pop- and other music. After his brothers 17 years coma he got in touch with the Esoterie.Followed the Sound-Healing course (Nestor Conrnblum) & composing classes with Maarten Weyler & Alicia Keys.Today still writing, rec & mixing his own music in Be
