Greeted with comparisons to young Libianca and Wizkid, Bate JB arrived in 2017 as a squeaky-clean pop-R&B - AFRO artist with "SHADOWS" the first debut single by this male artist to top the CAMEROON Hot 100 in over a decade. Within a few years, BATE became one of the biggest active Afro stars with FREE HUGS, EP that produced five more Top Ten singles, including "BODY" and "JOKIJO." As a featured artist or duettist, he added to the count with hits such as "PRISONER" a ballad with CLOE GRAE. His streak of Top Songs was sustained with releasessuch as “DO’’ (2022). Bate JB’s artistic scope has since continued to widen with FREE HUGS ALBUM coming (2024), as long as epic films.
