Monii Born in New Haven, Connecticut in the late 90’s, Monii always had a passion and love for music. Even when she moved to Rhode Island until the age of 13, Monii was consistently engulfed in music as an escape., they listened to all the hits and eventually gained an interest in older vinyl records. It wasn’t until moving to Attleboro, MA that Monii decided to act on her passion and transformed from a lover of music to a creator of music. It was apart of the fabric of her childhood, loving not only hip hop and its edgy appeal, but also many other genres including poetry and spoken word. Monii spent much of her days perusing different radio stations and hip hop mixtapes and albums. Starting as a model, Monii made the shift in her early 20’s, to actually create music on a dare, one drunken night.
