Headed by three college musicians, Bok Choy is a project of passion and knowledge that Thomas, Aiden, and Jonah continue to acquire in their studies. The band started out playing small family shows at local parties, now drawing impressive crowds to restaurants, breweries, and other large outdoor shows. Bok Choy has had many forms dating all the way back to middle school when Thomas and Aiden met, having their first live performance in 7th grade. Starting as a guitar/drum duo, the band has added many members through the years. As time has gone on, the music of Bok Choy has gone from country/rock to pop, and now has a main focus in jazz fusion and funk, drawing inspiration from artists such as Snarky Puppy, The Fearless Flyers, and Ghost Note. Bok Choy continues their music endeavors even while away at college across the country.
