Martin Lartell, aka, Bom Beijo is an electronic live looping act from Stockholm, Sweden, combining different flavors within electronic music such as downtempo, trip-hop, nu jazz, breakbeat, and techno. Growing up in a musical household and starting to produce hip-hop beats at the age of 16 set the foundation for his musical journey. However, it was during his travels to Asia, particularly India, where he encountered diverse musicians and broadened his musical horizon. This diverse musical experience is now reflected in his sound, combining different electronic music flavors with live looped instrumentation. His journey continued to the streets of Lisbon where he was busking on the streets before forming a live electronic improv band which in turn led to launching his solo project. Inspired by artists such as Bonobo, Session Victim, Tosca, FKJ, and Bicep, Bom Beijo strives to create a musical experience with depth and emotion in the same way.
