Booker T. Jubilee is a one man band with changing ensembles and collaborators. Named after my uncle Booker T., a local legend that was well known for his stories which grew in grandeur with every passing beer. The 'Jubilee' signifies the celebration that we have when something amazing is created. And it rhymes a bit with Booker T. so thats nice. I make music and documentary films about the inspiring people around us. Living by idea that collaborating with other musicians and artists helps stories grow past their original origin and continue to live. In my mind this keeps our history and loved ones alive who have transcended to the next place. These projects are funded with my own money from my regular job. I try to provide work and fair pay to artists. Your support is greatly appreciated to keep this project alive. Sometimes, if we can be an artist for one more day, it can turn into a life time.
