CJ 2.0 is a singer songwriter based in Asbury Park, New Jersey originally from Long Beach, California.
CJ 's universal music style seamlessly blends elements of Alternative, Indie, Indie Pop, and Folk, weaving a tapestry of introspective lyrical storytelling and Americana soundscapes that resonate with a wide audience.
After taking a healthy hiatus from the alternative rock music scene, CJ released his Survival Mode EP in 2022. Survival Mode was coproduced and mixed by Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Spin Doctors) at Dug Deep Production recording studio. All 4 songs "Something Old & Borrowed, Hills of Mulholland, Somewhere in Arizona & Feelings feature bassist Jack Daley, drummer Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors) & guitarist Marc Ribler (Bruce Springsteen, Disciples of Soul).
In 2023 & 2024 CJ teamed up with musician/producer/engineer/film director Riz Story (Anyone, TogethermenT Films) in Hollywood California & recorded 6 songs that captured a vibrant sound of Indie, Alternative & Americana
