Glenn Simon aka Cre8ive_MC was born and raised in the Northern New Jersey suburb of Parsippany-Troy Hills. He is bi-racial, with a German mother who is a painter and art teacher and African American father who is a metal sculptor and musician. From the time he was born, he was constantly exposed to visual art and all types of music. “Because of my mixed heritage and the fact that I was accepted by both sides of my family, I was given the unique opportunity to view life from two perspectives.” Cre8ive_MC grew up with two older brothers who constantly listen to hip hop, reggae, rock and r&b. He began writing lyrics and rapping in the sixth grade to the delight and encouragement of his family and friends. He developed an extensive vocabulary at a very young age and his rhymes have always been known for their complexity and quick wit. He was influenced by the music of Outkast, Atmosphere, Notorious BIG, Busta Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime. Associated with John “REEPA”
