My name is Mark Hunter, I was born and raised in Freetown Sierra Leone and went to boarding school in Ghana when I was 11 or 12 years old. On Mfantsipim school campus I was one of a few ‘foreign’ students that was blessed to learn some of the language and culture of Ghana. From Ghana, I pretty much came straight to college in Ohio which was even more foreign, and I have lived here ever since. It turns out it has been playing music and STORYTELLING that has been the one constant that has kept me feeling at home within myself through all these travels … I AM the lead singer of The ARK Band and C LA C I (pronounced Selassie I) is my stage name and my essence C LA C I 🙏
