After nearly a decade of touring in a nationally renowned rock band, Virginia based singer-songwriter Caleb Carpenter decided to pivot his creative vision as an artist towards new and uncharted waters with the launch of his solo career in early 2022. Looking to push beyond some of his prior sonic boundaries, Carpenter joined forces with longtime friend and industry vet, Mitch Parks to produce a newly refined and fresh musical DNA. With influences in pop, alternative, and soul coming into play, songs like “Déjà vu” and “Time Bombs” are bound to find their mark and resonate with listeners across a broad spectrum of musical preferences. “With this project, I really wanted to write songs for people, to create conversations, and to connect with the listener. I think when you have the ability to put your own song into someone else’s story, it becomes a integral part of their life soundtrack. And we all love and lose, and experience joy, and heartache and that’s what makes us innately human.
